Born in Fitchburg, MA, John and his family relocated in Jonesboro, GA in 1994 by way of Miami, FL.

A self-taught artist, John began painting in 1990 and quickly found that his interest was in wildlife in general, with

emphasis on detailed realism.

"For me, painting is a way to put one's own emotions on canvas for others to enjoy...a journey into nature.

Having someone spend their hard-earned money on my artwork is an honor.

In my paintings, nothing is unimportant...from the leaves, to the grass, to the rocks....

all have an important role in giving the painting spirit...a soul."
